I don't really know how to react to this news. Bethenney Frankel is leaving The Real Housewives of New York. One of my all time favorite cast members of any city in the entire Housewives series is peacing out. Normally this would pretty much be crushing news considering how absolutely hilarious she is. But, there is a silver lining.Bethenney is leaving her breakout show to star in her own BRAVO series, Skinny & the City. Her new show will chronicle her life as she gets ready to marry her not-yet-fiancé fiancé, Jason Hoppy.
This is still kinda disappointing news. I'm sure I will tune into her new show, but who is Jill Zaaaaaarin gonna hang out with now?! Romona!? She's about a functional as a wind up toy monkey that claps cymbals together. Alex is about as dull as toaster crumbs. And DO NOT EVEN get me started on that mega-bitch Kelly Bensimon. Just typing her name makes me want to punch someone running in front of a taxi through the streets of Manhattan.
I'm assuming that they will cast someone new to fill her spot, but what a change in dynamics this is going to be. I don't really think there is anyone out there as fun as Bethenney is on this show. She's just too unique no durr dumbass, obviously since she's getting her own show. I just hope BRAVO is smart enough to get someone who won't be afraid to put Kelly in her dumb-bitch place.
