Real Housewives of Atlanta - Wig Pull!!!!
Speaking of the the Real Housewives, of course there has definitely been a lot talk over New Jersey, but hopefully that will all go away until next season when I inevitably get super excited to watch the ladies hate on Danielle some more.
Anyway, BRAVO is setting the stage for what they hope will be another ratings bonanza with the second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Above is a super quick preview of the upcoming season and it looks like the southern beauties too much? can't wait to rip out Kim's Dollar General wig.
I have to admit, I never watched the first season of Atlanta so all of this bitchery is definitely going to be new to me. By the looks of things, it doesn't look like it's going to be quite as frustratingly-slow-to-the-big-fight as New Jersey, but it also doesn't look these women are nearly as crazy as New York. I will say though, I'm definitely looking forward to more Andy Cooper/Nene talk.
Anyone watch last season and want to give me a quick rundown in the comments?

Oh, I would love to fill you in on Season 1. RHA consisted of five main players- DeShawn, Lisa, NeNe, Sheree and Kim. Lisa and DeShawn were my favorite....DeShawn is married to Eric Snow (formerly on the Cavs) and Lisa is married to some NFL star. They were the best because they were normal and not crazy.
Nene, Sheree and Kim got most of the face time on the show because they were the crazies. IMO, Kim it's highly likely that Kim was once Kyle. Sheree and Nene were ghetto as shit and embarrassing re-affirmations of all the untrue stereotypes of African Americans. Kim was probably the worst, most ghetto acting of the bunch, an extreme annoyance with a mysteriously, never seen sugar daddy called "Big Papa" or something to that affect. Mysterious, probably because he is gay and loves Kim's penis.
Lisa and DeShawn spent their time acting classy, organizing charity events, and Lisa worked out a lot. But DeShawn was too nice for Bravo and they didn't ask her back for season two because apparently she was too "human" for the circus trainwreck that the show is supposed to be.
Too bad, because she had the most awesome house in the world.
IMO, people watch this show to (1) live vicariously through people who own the finer things in life that normal people can't afford, including beautiful homes, clothes and cars (2) watch rich people acting spoiled, buying expensive things and hanging out at country clubs and other places where most people can't afford to hang out and (3) observing the everyday relationships of rich people and realizing they're just like us and (4) of course, the catfights and drama that come with it.
BUT HEY BRAVO! DRAMA DOES NOT MEAN ACTING GHETTO JUST BECAUSE ITS ATLANTA! Come on!
And now the show is getting rid of it's classiest cast member...and arguably prettiest cast member....because apparently she's not nice enough.
The reason I hated Atlanta was because I was sick of watching Kim and NeNe running around talking in ebonics.

Apparently they are filling Kim's slot w/a new housewife, Kandi, who is a singer/songwriter.
I don't know why they couldn't just add one extra cast member like they did with the other shows? I don't know if I can take this show without Kim. As it was she didn't have enough facetime, and so my watching started to dwindle towards the end of the season.
Ugh. Kandi better have an AMAZING house.
